Boingo Wins ‘Best Place to Work in Los Angeles’ Honor for Sixth Year in a Row

Los Angeles Business Journal Names Boingo a Top Employer

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18, 2020—For the sixth straight year, Boingo Wireless (NASDAQ: WIFI), the leading distributed antenna system (DAS) and Wi-Fi provider, has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. The annual survey and awards program identifies and honors the top 100 employers in Los Angeles that benefit the county’s economy, workforce and businesses. Boingo received the award for scoring high across several workplace categories, including leadership, corporate culture, work environment, training and development, and more.

“For six years running, Boingo has landed the prestigious spot on LA’s competitive ‘Best Place to Work’ list, a testament to our innovative business, culture and amazing team,” said Bethany Ellis, senior vice president of human resources at Boingo. “At a time when connectivity is more important than ever, we’re proud to serve as an essential business that provides award-winning wireless networks to customers at major airports, stadiums, military bases, multifamily communities and other commercial properties.”

To determine the “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles,” companies from across the county entered a two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Los Angeles, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings.
